 Maintains the organization’s PeopleSoft/ERP system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis and performance running; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing, and escalating application problems to vendor.  Responsible for assessing available technologies and presents architecture designs in order to improve system efficiency, usability and effectiveness in support of core business functions (General Financials, Payroll, Human Resources, Supply Chain and Accounts Payable). 
Responsible for strategic and tactical solutions design, development, maintenance and enhancements of the technical components including building new PeopleSoft environments. 
Acts as an internal consultant providing technical guidance to realize industry best practices and long-term economic viability with a focus on clinical and service excellence.  Provides guidance and specialized technical knowledge to system engineers and other system administration staff, ERP developers, analysts, users and PeopleSoft process owners.  Skilled to make pragmatic and practical decisions without compromising the integrity of the PeopleSoft application.  Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
 Master’s Degree and 4 years of experience or Bachelors and 6 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and IT experience. Extensive experience in PeopleSoft/Oracle ERP technical and architecture design, installation, configuration and administrator support.  Experience in creation of new instances, migration of code, patching and environment refreshes. 
Experience in design, implementation and support of backup, monitoring and disaster recovery solutions. 
Familiarity with IT project and service management standards, frameworks, methodologies and best practices. 
Ability to manage projects and work productively under pressure. Proficient in PeopleTools, SQL, Change Assistant, PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), Weblogic, Tuxedo, and Phire/STAT.  Experience with Oracle Portal and SSO as well as technical knowledge of tools/features such as RAC, Oracle Grid Control and DataGuard. 
Must possess strong project management skills and the ability to lead a team of system engineers, database administrators and developers on projects of varying complexity. 
Must be self-motivated and multi-task oriented with the ability to learn new concepts and job requirements quickly. 
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information, decisions and approaches to non-technical audiences.
