The Network Administrator-Bi-lingual-English/Spanish
The role is to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer and voice network. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network and voice infrastructure hardware, software, and communication links. The person will also analyze and resolve networking-related end user hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Perform network design and capacity planning.
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.
  • Establish service level agreements with end users.
Acquisition & Deployment
  • Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
  • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network and voice procurement and development efforts.
Operational Management
  • Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs and firewalls.
  • Manage voice related infrastructure which includes Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity and Cisco IPCC.
  • Manage contact center scripts and work with business in providing ideas how to leverage IPCC features.
  • Manage call recording system (Calabrio).
  • Respond to network outages and emergencies to keep business uptime within established SLAs.
  • Manage external network monitoring vendor and optimize alert thresholds.
  • Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
  • Administer all equipment, hardware and software upgrades.
  • Maintenance of network and data-circuits (WAN) inventory and technical specifications information.
  • Perform network security audits.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
 Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or similar Bachelor’s Degree.
  • CCNP in Routing and Switching is required with minimum three years of experience after certification.
  • CCNA/CCNP in Security or Collaboration a plus.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Working technical knowledge of network infrastructure devices: routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Working technical knowledge of EIGRP and BGP is required.
  • Working technical knowledge of QOS with direct relation to DSCP/COS values.
  • Working technical knowledge of current network/routing protocols, and standards.
  • Voice application support experience with Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity and Cisco IPCC a plus.
  • Check Point firewall knowledge a plus.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Spanish knowledge a plus but not required.
