Program Manager - CONTRACT
The Program Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of assigned enterprise initiatives. The initial assignment will be PM responsible for enabling the launch of a new business vertical. This includes the successful coordination and control of all aspects of the program: initiation, design, development, testing, implementation, post-implementation, budget, risk/issue management, communication, quality, and timelines.
The candidate will have intermediate to advance knowledge and skills in business analysis and advanced skills in project management within a cross functional environment.  The candidate will ensure assigned projects are completed in a practical and expedient manner producing the highest quality solutions. The successful candidate is expected to be an effective leader, communicator, collaborator, and facilitator, possessing the highest level of business acumen. This candidate will also be able to demonstrate proven experience at successfully deploying complex, cross-functional, projects in a compressed time frame and will have the ability to demonstrable experience at successfully engaging with, direction and presenting key project updated to senior executive teams.
Summary of Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain and manage to project plans created by an established project management tool.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the customers and the project team.
  • Facilitate meetings to coordinate all analytical business functions and critical path, discovering business rules and ensuring that they are handled appropriately by the business.
  • Ensure that all business solutions progresses through the different phases of the initiative, and that all appropriate standards and practices are adhered to.
  • Take ownership of tasks and projects relating to new business development, and the addition and management of new clients.
  • Apply proper performance improvement techniques, such as benchmarking, workflow design, process analysis and design, and migration planning to ensure clients are brought on-line in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify all corporate value streams, identify them in order of criticality, and ensure that PMO is properly positioned to enable the critical value streams.
  • Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of personal productivity tools such as the MS office suite of products; and a thorough understanding of the major project management reporting tools. The incumbent must be able to produce mid- to advance output qualities from these productivity/reporting tools.
  • Provide general assistance to end-users in understanding and getting an appreciation for knowledge management/deployment capabilities.
Education/Experience/Other Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of project management.
  • Strong business acumen and relationship management skills. Must be experienced in collaborating with “C” level executives as well as mid- senior management.
  • Solid understanding of information technology across multiple platforms.
  • Advanced expertise in convergence of business processes, technology  and ERM/ internal controls
  • Advanced expertise in information gathering and meeting facilitation techniques, methods, and procedures.
  • Excellence in business and systems analysis, development, planning, and documentation methods and standards
  • Advanced expertise in project & program management, and the use of project management tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal communications and negotiating skills.
  • An advanced understanding of PMP, Six Sigma or comparable methodologies required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
