  • The S A interacts with business unit management, applications systems management, technology management, vendors  and industry experts  in order to map business requirements into technology solutions that optimally balance cost, speed of implementation, and value while leveraging existing technologies and standards whenever possible.
  • Contributes to the definition of architectural strategies and plans.
  • Advises and defines the architecture approach for projects and guides project activities toward desired Architecture model. Acts as centralized viewpoint in looking at the “big picture”  and bridging across the  various technology platforms  to ensure  continuity of direction, leveraging of company assets, best practices, and overall integration.
  • S pports  other S A team members in development of their designs
  • The S A  provides  clear and valuable documentation to support the team and communicates  it effectively.
  • Develops architectural l diagrams that document project plans, production systems, etc. Identifies, analyzes, and communicates architecture and integration options and makes recommendations to management.
  • Documents best practices  and solution blueprints.
  • The S A ensures that designed S solutions are successfully implemented by participating in all phases of the S DLC while working iteratively to ensure that systems are successfully evolved and delivered as maintainable finished solutions.
  • Acts as at technical lead providing direction to technical resources and consulting on the implementation while  owning  delivery of the technical design.
  • Assists in troubleshooting  technical implementation issues.
  • Helps to coordinate with vendor technical resources to drive  solution  delivery.
  • S supports the  business in validating the solution.
  • The S A conducts research on new and emerging technologies for practical application to business problems  and strategic initiatives  in the context of assigned work efforts.
  • S seeks out new technologies that meet specified cost/benefit criteria and takes appropriate action to introduce  into Company.
  • This may include proof of concept activities, cost/benefit documentation, staff training, configuration recommendations, contract and service  level requirements, etc.
  • C conducts  industry research in order to develop solutions to resolve business needs. Drafts "white          -papers" and communicates findings  to management.
  • The S A reviews  the  current technology architecture  landscape and seeks ways to leverage, improv          e and/or extend corporate technology investments.
  • In the context of specific project efforts, the S A works with line management in establishing technical directions and strategies that ensure cross -platform architectural components properly "fit" within the e enterprise  and maximum benefit can be gained. Definition of Solution Architecture Best Practices (10%)
  • The S A supports the team in the development of best practices, documentation templates and process and workflow to  optimize delivery.
  • Mentoring  and S up  port for Team Members (5%):
  • The S A supports the team through mentoring and ongoing guidance for fellow team members.
  • R regular design reviews  of documentation and solutions generated by peers.
  • Acting as  an escalation point to support team members on specific      c troubleshooting, process or documentation issues.
  • Helping to train members of the team in the latest best practices and architectural approaches.
  • Prioritization and Management of the  Team's  Business  Line Portfolio (5%)
  • The S A works with business and t technology management to help manage and prioritize the team's engagement with a specific business  line or area.
  • Prioritizes resource requests for S A resources.
  • Manages and maintains the  portfolio within a  given area and provides  this to management.
  • Documents  and reports  on project success for team members.
  • Works closely with the business line Enterprise Architect to ensure team alignment.
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Work Experience
  • 10+ Years
  • Minimum  of 10 years  of intermediate to senior level experience in multiple  information technology
disciplines such as Client/Server technology, SaaS platforms, databases, applications, middleware, web technologies, C loud, data security and operating systems . Broad experience in different technology stacks such as Oracle   - J ava/J2EE or Microsoft (.NE T).
  • Experience  with common system integration and services frameworks  such as S OA
  • Minimum of 10 years  of experience  in business process areas like  Order to C ash, Procure to Pay, Source to Pay, Hire to Retire, Record to Report etc.
  • Work experience in Information Systems, including roles as a hands on technical business systems analyst or programmer analyst.
  • Knowledge of IT  systems technology developments  and trends.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in influencing without authority and getting things done through others
  • 4-5 years’ experience with three-tier architectures, client -server architectures, usability principles and design patterns.
  • 4 years’ experience in demonstrating the ability to translate business needs into architecture requirements.

  • Deep understanding of technology trends  and a  broad knowledge  of technology products  and vendors
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
  • Knowledge of all components  of holistic  enterprise architecture.
  • Ability to handle multiple  tasks; Problem solving; Creative  thinking, developing  and acting on ideas.
  • Ability to balance the long  -term and short -term implications  of individual  decisions.
  • Ability to comprehend rapidly the functions  and capability  of new technologies.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills to communicate to peers, management, and business unit staff
  • Broad knowledge in technology products.
  • Experience participating in a diverse team setting
  • Ability to act in a  leadership role  supporting  teams of skilled resources
  • Extensive  knowledge of IT  development best practices and processes  and architecture standards like TOGAF
  • Experience  in mentoring  and educating fellow senior technology staff members
  • Ability to manage reporting  and metrics for a small set of work  efforts
