Business Systems Analyst - 6 month CONTRACT- Sunrise, FL

The Business System Analyst will be a highly motivated, self-driven individual, responsible for collaborating with business and technology teams to understand requirements, complete impact analysis, lead, coordinate and track various stages of development and testing with business and technology teams, and coordinate production implementation and communication.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for helping to deliver quality software and technology initiatives by:
 
  • Working with the business and technical teams to understand complex work flows and business needs
  • Translates business needs into technical solutions and corresponding business and technical requirements used throughout the development process
  • Develop functional requirement specifications and system context diagrams
  • Creating user stories and requirements for new and / or existing application processes / workflow to support the application development process
  • Querying data sources and performing analysis in support of requirements and problem resolution
  • Partnering with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams
  • Creating and updating documentation of system data flows and functionality
  • Interacting with individuals from across the company in different supporting organizations and business groups
  • Supports QA/UAT process: reviews test conditions to ensure proper coverage, participates in QA/UAT defect review and resolution
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and proactively supports knowledge sharing within the team and across technology 
  • Demonstrated experience as a highly motivated technical professional
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with business and technical teams to understand requirements, impact analysis
  • Demonstrates strong work ethics, a commitment to excellence and is a positive influence on others
  • Understand, document and deliver business requirements documents and use cases
  • Help drive projects to successful completion by using project management skills and strong knowledge of agile and scrum
  • Create user stories, requirements and functional specification documents
  • Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams
  • Team player that works wells with individuals & thrives in a complex, global organization
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Communicate effectively (verbally and written) and problem solve with various partners, vendors, offshore development teams and internal groups
  • Prior experience/familiarity with interfacing with QA and application and production support
  • Working knowledge of SQL and databases
  • On occasion, there could be evening or weekend needs
  • Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Visio
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • SQL data query tools
