The BI Report Developer must be highly self-motivated with a solid understanding of the business drivers. 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for enforcing BOBJ best practices in the use of Business Objects for creating enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Perform complex business scenarios independently, while also working well in a team environment.
  • Adhere to Change Control procedures, interface with senior management, and assist less experienced engineers with complex problems regards BODS development.
  • Resolving system bugs, performance issue. Research, relate and recommend technical solutions and relevant software application tools, utilities, environments.
  • Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to complete tasks meeting project plan schedules and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with principles of IT project management and IT governance is a plus.
  • Experience with ETL tools like SSIS/ Informatica is plus.
Required Skills
  • Experience with SAP BO is must and should be able to work with architects to create technical analysis, design, code, and testing.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Business Objects XIR3 or R4 versions.  (Must have Business Objects Web Intelligence development experience).
  • Experience with other Business Objects tools such as Explorer, Crystal Reports and Universe Designer/Information Design Tools and Version Manager.
  • Analyze reporting and data requests alongside business partners to ensure reports will be accurate and serve the needs of the user.
  • Schedule and monitor all automated reporting. Develop solution plans for any misbehaving reports and/or schedules.
  • Strong Business Objects development and administration skills.
  • Exposure to other reporting tools SSRS, COGNOS and Power-BI and Tableau.
  • Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL ability to write Stored procedures.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Outlook are a must.
  • Must have clear communication skills, both written and oral.
Required Experience
  • 3-6 Years' experience, mid-level position.
  • 1-2 Years developing reports using Business Objects Web Intelligence required.
  • 1-2 Years using Microsoft SQL required.
  • Experience with Crystal Report development is a plus.
  • Experience with MS Excel/MS Access is a plus.
  • Experience with WEBI.
  • Experience with Version Manager (by Infosol) a plus. 
  • Business Objects Enterprise or Web Intelligence certification is a major plus.
