Creative Game Artist — Boca Raton, FL or Vancouver, BC

We are looking for a creative, hands-on Game Artist to help define the visual look and feel of new casino/iGaming products from concept through production.

This is not a traditional graphic design or branding role. The right candidate should have strong experience creating original game art, including full game screen mockups, characters, environments, icons/symbols, UI elements, and production-ready assets.

You will work closely with game designers and technical designers to understand game mechanics, visual goals, target audience, and product requirements, then translate those into compelling game visuals that can move into production.

Responsibilities:

• Create original art mockups for key game screens and layouts.
• Design characters, environments, symbols/icons, buttons, backgrounds, and game UI elements.
• Develop the overall visual style, theme, and look/feel of casino or interactive games.
• Create production-ready assets in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Collaborate with game designers to understand mechanics, player experience, and business goals.
• Guide technical designers on animation direction and asset handoff.
• Support marketing assets when needed, but primary focus is game production art.
• Stay current on casino, mobile, social, and interactive game design trends.

Must have:

• Strong portfolio showing game art, mobile games, casino/slot games, iGaming, or interactive entertainment.
• Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Character design, illustration, environmental art, and game UI experience.
• Ability to create full game screen mockups from concept to final layout.
• Experience working with game designers, animators, technical artists, or developers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice to have:

• Casino, slot, iGaming, mobile game, or social casino experience.
• Animation direction or asset handoff experience.
• Marketing asset creation for games.
• Understanding of player engagement and game trends.
