Lead AI Engineer

My client is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions that transform the industry. You'll work alongside the Director of Information Engineering & AI, leveraging machine learning, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs) to automate processes, enhance data-driven insights, and create enterprise-scale AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
AI & Machine Learning Development – Design, train, and deploy ML models to solve business challenges using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
Conversational AI & LLMs – Fine-tune and implement LLMs (GPT, Ollama, Groq) for dynamic, context-aware enterprise applications.
API & System Integration – Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices to integrate AI models with internal and external platforms.
Data Engineering & Governance – Develop data pipelines (Spark, Airflow) and ensure compliance with data security policies.
Leadership & Collaboration – Mentor a small team of AI engineers and data scientists while partnering with cross-functional leaders to align AI initiatives with business goals.
Innovation & Optimization – Stay ahead of AI trends, champion new initiatives, and optimize AI performance & ROI.
What You Bring:
5+ years of AI/ML development experience with a proven track record of enterprise AI deployments.
Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and LLM fine-tuning.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Apache Spark, Airflow, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Docker for scalable AI solutions.
Excellent communication skills to translate AI innovations into business impact.
