What You’ll Do

• Configure, implement, and migrate network technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN controllers) for multiple customers.
• Serve as an escalation point for critical network/security issues and provide exceptional service to clients.
• Manage network and firewall migrations (Cisco, Palo Alto) and support cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Troubleshoot complex network and security challenges with precision and expertise.
• Apply compliance and security standards (SOX, SOC2, PCI) and create reliable controls for customers.
• Perform network assessments and deliver actionable recommendations to enhance security and performance.
• Document network configurations and collaborate with clients to tailor security policies to their needs.

What You’ll Bring

• Expertise in enterprise-grade routing and switching protocols, including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and SD-WAN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (7K, 5K, 2K), Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, Cisco ISE, and Palo Alto Firewalls (REQUIRED).
• Strong knowledge of security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention strategies.
• Ability to handle complex projects with a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Excellent troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 7+ years of experience as a Network/Security Engineer.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCDP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE (not required but a plus).
