Director of Clinical Ancillary Systems - New Jersey - Hybrid!
Director of Clinical Ancillary Systems is responsible for managing and overseeing the life cycle of clinical ancillary applications, including building, maintaining, and decommissioning. This role is critical in aligning IT solutions with clinical service lines and operational goals, ensuring seamless integration of technology in clinical care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for the clinical information systems team.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business leaders to implement effective technology solutions.
- Manage the clinical ancillary systems application portfolio, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers.
- Oversee the development and execution of application roadmaps and performance metrics.
- Lead innovation initiatives to improve system processes and reduce support costs.
- Support IT governance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage and mentor a team to meet evolving organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related healthcare field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).
- 8 years of IT and healthcare experience (12 years without a Master’s degree).
- Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
- Advanced knowledge of applications, technology integration, and project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across various levels of the organization and with external vendors.
