The SDN Engineer would be responsible for designing enterprise networks and performing implementation for projects. The team member will be responsible for defining Network and Security standards for LAN/WAN deployments as well as the management, maintenance, support, and optimization of the network. The engineer will also be responsible for mentoring junior Engineers and Support Technicians.

• Experience with software defined networking products such as Cisco DNA and VMware NSX
• Working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, DMVPN & SD-WAN. 
• Good understanding of networking protocols - switching technologies, routing fundamentals, firewalls, IP subnets, firewalling, load balancing, zones, and Management Networks.
• Knowledge of networks and dynamic routing protocols
• Dedication and the resourcefulness to resolve complex technical problems and multitask between multiple projects
• Possess college degree in Computer Science or 3+ years of experience working with Cisco Networking
• Proven understanding and experience with DNA and SDA
• Effective communication, presentation, and consulting skills

• Passion for customers, product quality, security, and service excellence
• One or more of the following is a plus: 
• Cisco Professional Level CCNP or CCIE desired
• Experience with NSX-V & NSX-T implementation along with Micro-segmentation.
