Customer IT Support - Columbus, OH
Our client is looking for a loyal, dedicated professional to join their team in Columbus, OH and provide support for and to lead our Support Organization. Works directly with customers and primary responsibility is to help resolve customer issues/questions. Additionally, you will assist with software training and implementation; and maintains a positive relationship with our customer base.
Answer customer support calls on a daily basis.
Executes training and orientation for new technology users and helps them become familiar with equipment and software features.
Ensures all users benefit from our technology and efficient software use, and continually assesses needs and requirements during the implantation phase of our systems.
Organizes support, troubleshooting, and repair for our Computer Aided Dispatch and Jail technology platforms.
Establishes relationships with sales and supports off-requests to address RFP questions if needed.
Attends and presents at trade shows and technology showcases to remains up-to-date regarding new developments.
Offers specialized expertise in software trends/demands for our industries in Public Safety, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, Jail Management and more.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a Related Field, or related experience. Experience with Computers and Networks, Written and Verbal Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Computers, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Working Under Pressure, Ability to Meet Goals.
