Sr. Peoplesoft Developer - HCM/ FSCM

The main function of this role is to support PeopleSoft HR applications such as Core HR, Payroll, T&L, Base benefits and Recruiting (TAM/CGI) modules. This role must develop and advance best practices and tools in support of the PeopleSoft HCM/ FSCM suite of applications. Responsible for the analysis, configuration, development, maintenance, testing, and support for the PeopleSoft application system including upgrades, new releases, optimization and implementations. Works collaboratively with teams and liaisons with business process owners.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support to PeopleSoft HR systems (Payroll, T&L, Base benefits, HR, and Recruiting (TAM/CGI) modules.
Responsible for technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post implementation support for PeopleSoft HCM and Finance projects, enhancements and fixes.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to PeopleSoft HCM / Finance user support staff and project teams.
Subject matter expert in business applications and/or cross functional areas.
Gather and interpret business requirements, design system solutions.
Develop, document, and implement operational support procedures covering developed customization.
Create detailed system specifications documents and develop and execute test plans.
Work on the technical level of all phases of systems analysis and programming activities.
Formulate and define technical solutions and estimates under general direction.
Maintain proper documentation including configuration specifics and procedures, for implementation and ongoing operation/maintenance of infrastructure solutions.
Accountable for managing all assigned tasks and projects.
Participate in the planning and design of an enterprise Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.
Comply with Incident Management and Change Management procedures and reporting practice
Perform systems related maintenance such as systems rebooting, patching, backups, snapshots, health monitoring, hardware/software asset management, software distribution and systems decommissioning.
Prepare detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written.
Design, code, test, debug and document programs.
Provide technical leadership on complex projects.
Asses problems or issues and articulates potential solutions or workarounds.
Perform other job related functions as assigned.

** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree**

Required to be successful in this role...
6+ years of relevant industry experience with at least 3+ years' experience on the PeopleSoft HCM platform in a functional and technical capacity.
6+ years of PeopleSoft experience with a minimum of 2 years of technical experience with Peopletools 8.55 or above and HCM9.2 fluid configuration/support experience.
Must have Peoplesoft Development tools version 8.56 & deploying latest PUM images in 9.2.
Significant hands on experience and knowledge of SQL, SQR, Application Engine, People Code, Component Interfaces, Application Messaging, Application Packages, Integration Broker, Web Services, XML publisher and other Peopletools. Must have hands on demonstrated working knowledge of Java Script, HTML, Fluid page development and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Experience in working with Oracle Databases, PS SQL, Performance tuning (use database tools to examine table structures, indexes and other database objects), knowledge of data export/import, UNIX and windows OS scripts.
Must have strong experience creating new and modifying existing on-line functionalities using Peopletools.
Strong experience in implementing ESS & MSS features and customizing approval framework (AWE).
Strong knowledge of and adherence to SDLC process and implementing best practices. Must have deeper understanding/experience on SOX/GDPR and internal audit procedures and compliance policies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
MUST have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
